All about the 6 Days Northern Tanzania Premium Safari.

This Tanzania Safari takes you to three of Tanzania’s most spectacular attractions, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. You will begin by visiting Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem and provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife.

More than 400 species have been recorded here. Later to Serengeti National park and lastly proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, which supports a year round resident population of a variety of wildlife. It is an attraction in its own right and is one of the wonders of the natural world.

  1. Day 1: Arusha / Lake Manyara

    This safari starts with lunch at Arusha town; later at 1400hrs depart for Lake Manyara. On arrival, check in at Kirurumu Tented Lodge. Kirurumu is set high on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, enjoying a panoramic view eastward over Lake Manyara.

  2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

    On this day, after breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park which is abundant in birdlife plus other wild animals which include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos.
    Return to the lodge for lunch. After Lunch, drive to Serengeti National Park.

  3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park

    Today you will enjoy morning and evening game drives in the plains of Serengeti where you will have the chance to see great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions. This is a day to relax and enjoy the vast beauty that Africa has to offer.

    The Serengeti covers a vast area and is home to the most spectacular concentration of game found anywhere in the world. The park boasts the big five. It is the stage on which the most spectacular wonder of nature takes place, the Great Migration. It is on this park that millions of ungulates comprising of wildebeests and zebras make that all important trek from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya

  4. Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

    After having a morning game drive and lunch at the lodge, drive to Olduvai Gorge, which is the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (’Handy man’) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. Olduvai Gorge is a steep-sided ravine in the Great Rift Valley in the eastern Serengeti Plains. Olduvai Gorge is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world and has been instrumental in furthering the understanding of early human evolution

    Then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive for Dinner at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. The lodge sits on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater from where you get awesome views of the collapsed volcano.

  5. Day 5: Ngorongoro

    After breakfast, today you will descend 2000 feet (0ver 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches.

    The Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world and the first sight of it is truly breathtaking. It is considered one of the best game viewing spots in the world with a chance to see the big five, zebras and wildebeests.

    The crater holds almost every individual species of wildlife in East Africa including the extremely rare and critically endangered Black Rhino.

    You will have an opportunity to explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.

  6. Day 6: Departure

    After breakfast depart for Arusha Town, Lunch will be served in Arusha town. End of safari
